Julius Award for HILITECH strengthens Styrian composite competence center
Since its establishment in 2014 as a joint venture between F/LIST and the Hintsteiner Group, HILITECH has grown to an internationally recognised composite competence centre. Based in Kindberg, it produces customised, lightweight components for aviation, yachting and the premium market, where low weight, precise shaping and technical requirements are essential.
Jochen Pack, Director of WKO Styria, outlines the importance of engagement: "I am honoured to present the JULIUS Award from the Economic Chamber to HILITECH, a company that represents the strengths of the Styrian economy: courage, innovation, and the highest quality. We would also like to acknowledge their commitment to shaping the future of skilled workers – this is Styria's entrepreneurial spirit in action."
The award also strengthens Styria's position as a business location. Highly skilled jobs, a steadily increasing order book and a presence in global markets will secure the region's industrial expertise in the long term. With its combination of regional location, technical expertise, and global customer projects, HILITECH confirms its status as an internationally recognised Composite Competence Centre, providing long-term impetus for Styrian industry and showcasing regional innovations on a global scale.
"The Julius Award spotlights the team and their work at the Kindberg location,’ explains Manfred Nagl, CEO of HILITECH. ‘It confirms our approach of combining technological innovation
with regional roots."
